The Account Executive acts as the main point of contact between logistics service providers and their clients, handling everything from onboarding new customers to ensuring timely delivery of shipments.
📌 Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management

Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients. 
- 
Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers. 
- 
Understand client needs and tailor logistics solutions accordingly.

Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly. 
2. Sales & Business Development
- 
Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts. 
- 
Generate leads and convert them into clients.

Prepare and present proposals or pricing quotes.

Achieve sales targets and KPIs. 
3. Logistics Coordination
- 
Coordinate with operations teams to ensure timely pick-up and delivery.

Track shipments and provide updates to clients.

Handle documentation (e.g., bills of lading, invoices, shipping documents).

Work with warehouses, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers. 
4. Reporting & Documentation
- 
Prepare regular reports on account status, shipment performance, and sales.

Maintain accurate client records in CRM systems.

Monitor client credit limits and payment status (if applicable). 
5. Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
- 
Investigate and resolve delivery issues, delays, or damages.

Coordinate with internal departments to implement corrective actions. 
6. Market & Industry Knowledge

Stay updated on logistics trends, freight rates, and regulations.

Provide market insights to help improve client service.
